WIMLER in cooperation with Damayan, Association of Bansalenos Worldwide (ABW), HAPNID, and Holy Cross College of Bansalan Batch 1983 is organizing activities in conjunction with the Earth Day.
The event will be held on April 25, 2010 in Bansalan, Davao del Sur, Philippines. The yearly event will be opened with a mass parade and followed by various activities such as kite flying contest and poster and slogan making contest. The organizers this year decided to introduce traditional Filipino games that are already long forgotten or strangers to the young generation. The games in Cebuano will consist of: tubig-tubig, luksong lubid (jump rope), shatong or siatong, pot breaking, tumba lata, bending, etc.
